I agree with rocket7171. I couldn't believe how many times I had to pump the accelerator to get it to start after it sat for a month. Thought for sure that I had flooded it, but I gave it some more pumps and then it started right up.

(PS - Pretty obvious, but you DID turn the fuel pump on, right?)
