Default Still Drivin Stron with over 5150 miles

Hi guys,

My BDR 426 from Vintage is haulinng ___ ____ _____ very strong and due for the next oil change already with over 5100 Miles.

I did have a close call though during last friday's wind storm. I never been so nervouse in such a long time while driving. I got off Rt 15 in CT came to a Traffic light. Began to make a left turn, when out of the corner of my right eye, I saw a dead tree limb wave in the wind (so I thought). It actually broke from the main trunk of the tree and was coming straight for my car.

I punched it, swerved over the double yellow line into oncoming traffic, the tree limb was big it was still falling on or near the passenger side of my cobra. I swerved again and punched the gas one more time. The tree hit the ground and when it did, some wood fragments got caught and burned in between the pipe and heatsheild, and a log about 1 foot long which had broken from the tree landed on my passenger seat.

I could not believe how lucky I was. I could not even look at my car until i got it home and in the garage. The damage from this limb could have been devestating not to mention deadly especially if I had a passenger in the car. All I needed to do was unscrew the heat shield to get the chared wood out, and wax some spots where debris hit. Soooo Lucky

Let me count my blessings now. God must love cobras.

SD, I have to agree... God loves Cobras.

And the... unusual... people that own and drive them.

I accidentally drove Gunrack through a quick shower on a wet road.

Once.
