Default BDR header issue

Okay right after Tulsa I noticed a small exhaust leak, so I retorqued all the flange bolts and header bolts, well I took the car out last night and still had a leak, after a few miles it became louder, well the header broke at the flange again. This is the 2nd time it has broke, even though my car is older in age I was wondering if BDR would give me any assistance on buying new headers, I need them and it's obvious it's bad welds, and if I have to pull them off again I might as well put newer, bigger headers on there. So Reg I need to buy new headers. I guess I will be calling you Monday

One item which will shorten the life of headers is heat wrap tape. If you are using it that is your problem.

This is less than 1,000 miles on the headers since I wrapped them and I had to because since I put the new motor in I have almost no clearance to the foot box, but where the header goes into the flange is the issue I have, the welds keep breaking.

1,000 miles I agree that should not have cracked that quick, you might want to consider ceramic coating with the new ones. I imagine they are a shelf item, material to fab the headers probably doesn't cost $30.00.

the header didn't crack, it's where they go into the flange for the sidepipe, yes it's a fairly easy fix, but just I want/need larger headers and this is a good excuse to get them, Reg knows me and I use to work for the Dallas BDR and he knows this car is very low mileage and just thought I'd ask for assistance.
