 Congratulations Jeff!
Are you going to get the car on the road with the 427 or start the electric conversion right away?

 | Just a guess, but I think he's going to start the 9-volt battery conversion right away. Congrats Jeff!

Now what's the difference between a FFR MKII and a FFR MKIII? |

Boy what a busy day ! Thanks for the offers to help. It hit it perfect with my first phone call. I called Rod at The Mustang Ranch and he set me up with their flat bed tow person.
I had the Cobra, second body and all the boxes home in two trips.
And thanks again to Bob from Snooze and Cruz Transpot for being so good at what he does. I would recommend him to anyone who needs their Cobra moved.
I plan on finding out exactly what 427 motor I have, with Rods help.
I plan on pulling it apart right away, even though the Go Cart is ready to go !
 Pretty tempting, hugh
I will post some pictures this weekend and some specific on the many very nice pieces in it. Here are just a few: Pin Drive, two peice wheels, Full Willwood brakes, including pedal box, inde |

Bob Nepolitan (snooze and cruise ) has been our main Tow guy for years, he has towed many a Cobra , mustang and partially assembled and disassembled car as they Come into the ranch. - - transported them to paint booths , etc. If you need his contact info you can call the Ranch , or send me a PM .

 Ok,
  Here are some pictures.
I stopped bye Home Depot on the to make a body hoist system so I can give my wifes spot back in the garage.....for now
As you can see the car came with two bodies. One has a nice Black with a gost blue stripe. The paint is weathered, but does rub out easly. I cleaned and used rubbing compound on one of the worst areas and it came back quickly. The other is gell coat. I will sell the gell coat one.
The motor is a all iron 427, with only about an hour on a complete rebuild. It will be for sale to.
I will start a new thread on FFCobra site to start ""Electric" Roadster project.

Thanks, Jeff |

Jeff | I'm not the only Cobra guy doing a major master bathroom remodel???

My trick is to send my car up for paint during the remodel. That plan has fallen apart, though, as my Cobra will be back next week and, uh, the bathroom remodel is far from completion...

I figure I've earned my right to have my car painted for the work I'm doing on the remodel. I'm saving more by "doing it myself" than I am spending on the paint.

Ahh tit for tat. I remember the routine do a little of this so you can do a little of that. Balance, that's what it is all about. I have been doing that all my life and most of the time it worked out. Congrats on your new purchase but why do you have two Cobra bodies in your garage?

you guys are amateurs! I did it the easy way: bought my wife a Toyota Highlander, THEN asked for permission a month later.
Much cleaner and less stressful than a remodel and I get to drive two cars. |
