2011 End of Summer Run - Hold the Date 10/8/11
Initial Plans: Breakfast at the 3-Zero Cafe - Half Moon Bay Airport, 9850 N. Cabrillo Highway, 10 Minutes north of Highway 92. Indoor and outdoor seating, lots of paved parking.
Visit Canepa Designs - Scotts Valley, about 1¾ hours south. While a repeat of a prior EOSR, they have greatly expanded their facility and have a ton of new cars.
Lunch location TBD
Saturday October 8th. Meet at 3-Zero at 8:30 AM. I assume a group will leave the Rock House around 7:30 for the one hour drive to breakfast and will pick up others on the way.
As usual, the Run will end around 2-3 PM.
Please post here or send me an e-mail/P.M. so I can advise restaurants and Canepa of attendees.
Tom
P.S. My apologies for those who already have plans on that day.

Bumping this up! I've got it on my calendar and hope to make it. So much stuff going on (and some crappy morning weather) this Summer that I haven't gotten out as much as I'd like.

I may have to miss this one; kind of touch and go.
My wife will be overseas and I have to take care of my neighbors daughter through Fri. the 7th. If they get back from LA on Fri, then I can ask them to watch my daughter for Sat. the 8th.
SO... I'm a maybe... :-|

hey for those that can't go to this event like me, there is a great event in Golden Gate park. Jimmy"s Old School picnic this is a great car show usually well over a 1000 cars park on the grass. Free for spectators $40 to bring your car there and park on the grass. 1980 and older cars allowed. great event just thought I'd let everyone know.

Hey Freddie, Jimmy's Old Car Picnic is on the 15th, so we can do both events! Jimmy's has a wide variety of machinery, something for everyone. And it supports good charity too. The Memorex Reunion is on the 15th too, so I'm going to try and get to Speedway Meadow early, so I can get back to do the Memorex thing later. Bring food, I'll bring wine. Rich

I would like to meet up and go also. Count on 2 of us going. It's been a while since I have gone on any cobra runs, maybe because I have put a lot of time in the Cobra, lol. The car is on it's final assembly can't wait to show you all what it looks like, still a lot to do but as always it's getting closer.
See ya soon,
Kevin

Trying to provide numbers to restaurants & Canepa
Thanks to those who have posted that they can attend. I would appreciate hearing from others as soon as they know if they plan to make it so I can let the restaurants know as well as letting Canepa know how many parking spaces we need. Please let me know if you will have a co-pilot. I understand that Life Happens, so kindly keep me posted if your plans change, one way or the other.
Thanks - Tom
