Gregory Motorsports Licensed Shelby Automobile Dealers

This page: CSX Shelby Aluminum 4000 Series Cobras says this: Can Finish an Aluminum CSX 4000 Series Cobra with Engine and Tranmission for $185,000.

The aluminum roller is $135,000 plus options. So, after buying an FE and a trans plus all the miscellaneous and extraneous nonsense, that's not a lot of profit for the dealer on an $185,000 sale.

Some interesting points ;

1. The 4000 series cherry car , is remarked in the registry as being painted that color from the get go, so changing the color probably would put it in a nebulous state of collector classic as a color-change car.

2. Aluminum CSX 4000 could be built in one of 4 places in over 15 years of production.

3. All of Gregory's cars are glass , he doesn't floor / stock aluminum cars

4. Call Steve Parini at Denbeste motorsports , and order your roller . They probably have something you will like with a K chassis.

as my German grandmother used to say ; " buy quality , it's cheaper "

Steve

I see the black cherry csx car is sold on cobra country. It seems a lot of cars are going to buyers overseas. Why do you think that is? I of coarse kind of track csx cars because you just never know.

I'd guess its because of your dollar, and the increase confidence of buying over the internet. ;)

US "quantitative easing" policy as per the FED through Ben Bernanke means for example our Aussie dollar has gone from buying about $0.60 to now trading at over parity at %1.03. It's a similar story for the Swiss franc. :cool:

Lots of countries will not allow a fiberglassed body csx car into their country - it has to be as original - alumn boady and all

there is NO PROFIT for a factory-authorized Shelby Cobra dealer at 185k turn-key on a CSX 4000 alumn car / I think that text w/price is many, many years old...........
