Default Cherry's Jubilee pics

This was a different venue for all of us and it was certainly a lot different than Snakes To The Lakes. So many different types of cars, I just didn't have the energy to take them all ( and admittedly, a lot of redundancy for a few models... like those Shelby Cobras! )

I did enjoy the poker run as I've never been in the Carmel Valley so that was fun. I do want to go back for 17 mile drive one day.

Thanks again Mike V. for getting out butts out of bed and driving down to the event. Anyone stick around for the winner of the poker run?

On with the pics:

Thanks for the pics Herman, looking forward to more!

AND thanks to you and everyone that attended.

Yes, "Snake to the Bay" was different than "Snakes to the Lake" in some ways (which is what folks had requested) but it was similar too. We had a great drive down, we had a great group of folks and we had a great venue with lots of options and things for folks to do.

As for the poker run, I think about half that started were able to finish in time. The rules did say we "didn't need to be present to win" so it's possible we had a winner in our group.

See ya and keep checking for news on more Cobra events I'm sure we''l have at least one or more before the end of this year.

Day 2, started off with a fairly thick fog bank inside Laguna Seca, which delayed things by a good hour or more. Registration was late as well. The fog was so thick, that the pit building that should be visible behind our registration tent was nowhere to be seen in the parking lot. It was pretty crazy but it provided me to take more photos of some cars not in the first set. Enjoy!

Monterey's Finest.... HEY, what's that on the front grille????

Gotta love their sense of humor!

Getting ready for the parade lap. My wife Melinda took the photos so the last two curves are missing but otherwise, they were taken in sequence

With parade lap done, it's off to the Poker run to get the remaining 4 hands!

Some very *****'n cars. I really like the two 67 GTO's, the GT350 with the Halibrands, and the black Cobra

I have an old D60 camera I bought new in 2008.

The lens is a Nikkor 18-200mm F3.5-5.6.

For the stills, it was pretty much left on Auto. For the track, VR set on and 'active' mode, and dial set to Sport mode.
