Ceramic Coatings
Can some one suggest a reputable place in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area to have headers coated with ceramic heat barrier (thermal barrier coating). I would like to do the headers and sidepipes in black. This may have been addressed previously, if so please accept my apology for asking again.
Thanks Rick |
Rick,
At the last GoodGuys in Nov. I picked up some info on a couple of Ceramic coaters in the area. I will look through my show litrature for some names and more info. I saw sample at the show that looked good but......... who's gonna bring bad samples to a show  Check back later this week and I'l try to remember to up date this information. Mike "monster" |
Rick, I'm building a 56 chevy truck and I had the manifolds ceramic coated by Accessories Plus. They did a great job. Here's their info.

Ok,
I found the info that I got at the last GoodGuys so here it is as I said before I haven't dealt with any of these companies only picked up their flyers: Accessories Plus 1421-D Old County Road Belmont 650-591-2400 (It sounds like Richard has used these guys and is happy). West Coast Powder & High Temp Coatings 1090 Shary Circle Concord 925-682-4828 Cap's "Brite Hot Coatings" 4460 S. Chestnut Ave Fresno 559-497-5606 www.capsbhc.com I talked to all about possibly having my side pipes coated silver and polished and one of these companies had a limit as to the length that their polishing tank could handle?? As I said before all of the samples looked great. good luck, Mike "monster" |
