Thumbs up Got Plates, Tags & Insurance

Today I visited DMV for the final time picking up my plates, tags, registration, insurance is done. The Cobra is on jack stands for some final body work before primer. I am hoping to have it primed by this time next week and working on sanding the primer. I hope to have Inferno Red paint and white pearl stripes on it by Mid December. The body work took 10 times longer than I expected but the painter says it is looking real good and not to wimp out now. Man I want to drive it!!!

Cogradulations on your registration success! Tell me about the process - CHP, BAR, special applications, etc. I'm next on the reg attempt list.

I just completed the process and am now legal. The process, although a bit long with the several steps required, was fairly easy. Bringing the DMV print-out from their website regarding SB100 did help, as the small town office I went to was unfamilar with it. The fellow at the BAR was a crack-up. He thought it was so stupid to have these SCV's go to him to fail the smog test (he did enjoy playing with the car though). If you don't already have it the SB100 site is:

Good Luck

You will love the Inferno Red though, particularly in direct sunlight. I was 90% sold on Ford Laser Red until a co-worker parked her new '00 Chrysler 300M painted Inferno Red next to a new Laser Red Taurus. I was smitten. So will you.
