CSX4000 Cobra comes to BACC Breakfast
Hello All,
Wanted to give everybody a heads up....you all knew Gary Patterson is coming to the 3rd annual dinner at the St. Francis as a guest speaker.
Gary is driving on 3/28 Friday and trailering a CSX4000 car, with a 560HP 427 in it. He is bringing the Cobra to Athens for breakfast the morning of the 29th. .
Gary said he was offering rides to anybody that was interested. The car he is bringing is a FiberGlass bodied car so it willl give us a chance to compare the fiberglass with Mark Roe's Aluminum bodied car and with Chucks CSX3193.

If you plan on going for a ride with Gary:
Remove any loose items from your pockets and go BEFORE you eat!
You'll thank me later.

When did Gary get his license back?
It is good to see him up and about...
There is only way someone can drive like that. And I thought he stopped drinking too.

It would be great if one of you guys could take some shots of the differences between the glass and aluminum 4000 (shape-wise).

Turk,
Stop spreading rumors. Gary no longer drinks before test rides!!
Seriously, If you are on the fence about going, you may want to go for a ride with Gary. quite an adventure!

Tony,
I am planning on having my CSX4264 there as well. I am getting my chassis setup done on Monday then I am ready for long distance driving. Look for the 8 ball in the parking lot on Sat the 29th. What time is a good time to arrive??

Thanks Tony.....
I'm hurt! I thought I was the 1st CSX4000 to the BACC Breakfast? Actually, I've only had the opportunity to make that (1) Breakfast about a year ago. Car was tied up for a couple months, and then my work schedule changed. I now work Saturday's. Sure miss hanging around with other Cobra fanatics. Saturday the 29th sounds like there will be a big turn out. Will try to get the day off, so I can make it out there. Should be fun, and having Gary there will be a plus!

Hello All,
Shannon ....Hope to see you at Athens for breakfast we arrive around 7 and depending on what is going on in the parking lot hang around until 10 or so.
Bill ...over the last three years or so we have been visited by a nimber of CSX owners and their cars. A guy by the name of Gardner was trying to set up a dealership in SFO...he brought out a nice red one, John Anderson started with ERA then switched to CSX...built and sold his car. David & Tom Kirkham visited with a CSZ front clip in a trailer along with a complete frame/body from their shop. Mark Roe and his 40th anniversary car....Chuck and CSX3193 are there most Saturdays. And of course your CSX Cobra.
Turk....Can't wait to see your car after your trip to Nebraska to pick up the engine from George.
