It's Baaaack!
Flew down to San Luis Obispo yesterday and picked up the Cobra. Had the clutch replaced, fly wheel shaved (it was burnt), starter replaced, shift linkage tweeked and a gas leak fixed. Along with putting the MSD on at Top of the Hill-the car runs great.!:D
The drive up the coast (227 miles) was perfect. Weather was mid-sixties--no rain--and no traffic. Three and one-half hours of driving and the car ran great!! It was gone three weeks--and I forgot the thrill of driving a big block on the road--more power than ya need, but always never enough. Stopped once for gas (ya, I only get about 8-10 MPG), and I had a couple of guys ooh and aah over the car for a few minutes--never get tired of that. So, its back in the garage lookin' good a runnin' great!! See ya all for breakfast tomorrow--rain permiting....... |

Great news.....all of these cars have their start up gremlins. Looks like you have killed off your share. BTW Shelby american is bringing CSX4027 to breakfast the morning of 3/29 and then over to the Yacht club for dinner. See you tomorrow, Tony R. |

Gald to here you are back in the seat again. I wont be at the breakfast tomorrow but I am planning on the making the breakfast on the 29th. Are you going to Thunder Hill on 4-12,13?? I am getting my Chassis setup done on Monday then I am completely done!. I look forward to meeting everyone. Shannon |
