				 It's Baaaack!
Flew down to San Luis Obispo yesterday and picked up the Cobra. Had the clutch replaced, fly wheel shaved (it was burnt), starter replaced, shift linkage tweeked and a gas leak fixed. Along with putting the MSD on at Top of the Hill-the car runs great.!
The drive up the coast (227 miles) was perfect. Weather was mid-sixties--no rain--and no traffic. Three and one-half hours of driving and the car ran great!! It was gone three weeks--and I forgot the thrill of driving a big block on the road--more power than ya need, but always never enough. Stopped once for gas (ya, I only get about 8-10 MPG), and I had a couple of guys ooh and aah over the car for a few minutes--never get tired of that.

So, its back in the garage lookin' good a runnin' great!! See ya all for breakfast tomorrow--rain permiting....... |
