New Guy needs help
Hey all;
I am starting my leg work on owning a cobra..I'am looking for someone here in the bay are who would be more than willing to help me with some question about ownership. I'am looking at owning a SPF..I have been working hard for the last couple of months on this; but now i need a sit down with someone who can give me some real world answers..
I have talked to the salesman at SPF and went over to the fairgrounds on Sunday to check things out also..But, i would really like someone give me the "naw, that is bull**it" stuff and real world cost of building..
I live in the Menlo Park area; and would be more than willing to travel or buy some lunch or bring the beer if need be..(i'am not a total bum)..I didn't want to just pop in at Athens on Sat. without a formal invite..Anyway, Thank's to anyone that could help..

Athens This Saturday
Rick--
OK--take this as a formal invite to Athens this Saturday for breakfast.
This Saturday will be special because SAI will be there with a car. We are also going to compare a CSX 3000, CSX4000 aluminum and CSX4000 glass bodied car--should be a great morning!!
So, come with questions, hunger and camera and join us for some fun........

Athens Breakfast
Henry--
A group of Cobra owners have breakfast every Saturday morning to talk shop/cars. Depending on weather, anywhere from 10-20+ cars show up every Saturday. Everyone is invited and the guys love to talk about/show you their cars. And your right, this is a FORD crowd--but all shop talk is welcome!!

Hello Rick and Henry,
The Saturday Morning meetings have been going on for three years ...every Saturday.
The group posts under lthe local clubs banner and known as the Bay Area Cobra Club.....BACC.
The Rules:
NO Rules...No Dues......Every body is a President.
We never saw a Cobra we did not like.
Everybody is welcome current owners of Cobras, building a Cobra. interested in a Cobra or just about anything else that has wheels.
This Saturday is a little special in that it is the morning of our 3rd annual dinner on Saturday night...look at the listing in the BACC club and you are more than welcome to attend if you want. The dinnner is at the St. Francis Yacht Club in SFO...details in the club forum or E-mail and I will hook you up with reservation etc.
Shelby American will be presenting at dinner about their products programs etc. Great Door prizes and raffle items...all proceeds to charity.

New baby almost here
Hi guys. My son and I should have our new baby, SPF 1580, home soon to the Bay Area. She should have her new Roush 402R dropped in by the end of this week and we hope to pick her up soon thereafter. Can you give a more detailed location for the Saturday bkfst gatherings?
We appreciate the help.

Rick,
I'll be driving up from Palo Alto this saturday, you're welcome to catch a ride if you want. Sadly, I won't be driving the cobra, it's in the shop for a while.
