Special Cobra Event Opportunity

My brother (who works for Red Bluff Ford) just called me with a special offer to BACC & Northern California Cobra owners that sounds like a pretty good deal.

Red Bluff Ford is having their grand opening MARCH 20 and to help celebrate they are inviting Cobra owners to come up and join in the festivities (there will be a number of local rod and custom cars but this offer is for the Cobras only).

For the first 15 Cobra's Red Bluff Ford will :

* Donate $50/car to the Team Jenny charity

* Provide a $50 voucher good toward good in their extensive Ford Motorsport parts and accessories department
OR
$50 Gas credit

* Discounted hotel for those that wish to come Friday or stay over Sat. (nice hotel at a very good rate)

* Entry into the raffles for some top prizes including Weekend house boat trip on Shasta , Ford motorsports parts, Logo items,Jackets etc...

* Catered BBQ included

* Cobra parade down town to the dealership

Time will be : Parade at 10 and show until 4

BTW: it's about 190mi. each way from Dublin to Red Bluff

This is turning into a pretty fun sounding event. They are expecting 30-50 Ford powered rods & customs. I've already got 8 Cobras that have indicated that they are coming Plus 1 GT-40. I took a look in the motorsports catalog (on-line )and there's a lot of goodies to choose from in there. I'm sure we will fill the 15 slots and once we get close I'll see if they will provide anything for those who waited a little to long. But to be sure get on the list now.

I just thought I would bring this to the top once more before I send in the current list. We have 10 cars currently and the plan is to meet at Athens on the morning of the 20th drive up, spend the day and then return at about 4-4:30. It takes about 2 1/2hr so we should be back in the area by 7:00.
