Need Lead Contact / Rep for WSCB from BACC
Hello BACC Members,
So far, all the other Western States area covered. We are looking for a Lead Contact / Representative from the Bay Area for the future Western States Cobra Bash! (WSCB). I feel its a key role because there are so many Cobras in the Bay Area and surrounging area.
The VOTE for a location is in progress now. We are working to pin down some details about the event, and thought it would be good to have....
Someone Who...
- Goes to most of your BACC meetings...
- Sending a few emails or making a few phone calls to those that area not online or use email
- Helping to coordinate small bits of information in the future...
If there is an elected person in your club or someone that can be recommended or wants to volunteer, please let me know by email or PM through ClubCobra.
Thanks,
Duane Cooney

In BACC:
EVERYONE IS A PRESIDENT
No fees, no membership, no rules.
This forum is as good as any for communication to BACC. Meetings are every Sat. at Athens and anyone is welcome. If a vote is desired, this forum should serve as the polling place.
just my humble 2-cents,
Mike

Hi Mike,
We are not looking for a President, just a single point of contact from the Bay Area that can coordinate information with people that are online and offline in the Bay Area. There are many Cobra owners and busy people (out of the loop) that don't use ClubCobra or email to keep up like we do.
If you guys would rather have an electronic forum vs. an individual contact that we can work with directly, that's fine. I just can't bring an electronic forum with us in a car to go check out potential locations we are looking at securing.

Others,
If there is anyone else that is willing to contribute as a lead contact from the Bay Area, please send a PM.
Thanks.

Mike,
Okay then, Sounds Great! Thanks for your offer and Help.
Our goal is to combine many of the fragmented regional US West Cobra "gatherings" to get all these people together at one shared event from the NorthWest, SouthWest, Cal, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, etc... Keeping it simple and fun. We'll see..
The potential is very high if everyone decides to work together to pull this off and attend. We are looking at large-scale locations now that can offer the best package deal for our members. So far so good. Response has been overwhelming on both sides of the equation. Thanks Again. Duane

ERA 626-Mike,
Perfect. I will be emailing out information in a week or so as we get it. I will be sending it to you as the lead contact and copying Monster too since he came back and offered to help out as well. I got your email at home too. Awesome. I feel there are so many people in the Bay Area and surrounding areas so I need your help as one of the primary contacts and anything else Mike/Monster can help with will be great. Maybe you guys can cover different areas to get the idea out for consideration.
More details coming as the VOTE closes and we move to the next steps of securing the best value location. With us all working together, we have a good chance of getting WSCB off the ground.
THANKS!

one additional note for those concerned about missing any events in 2005
I have communicated to the WSCB that the annual BACC events (Tour de Vin, Cobras to the Coast & a new event for 2005 will be held in April - May & June........more on these event will be posted soon) and we will be working to avoid date conflicts so that folks can attend as many as possible.
thanks,
mike

Mike/Monster and Mike/ERA626 were nominated to cover all those Bay area regions, and they've got it covered and both are doing a great job.
Thanks Guys!
Mike/Mike,
(BTW: location agreement signed today. More on Wed. Woohoo.).
