Default Monterey Historics...???? Parking

Hey Presidents.

Monterey Historic's coming up. Is there any info on a Cobra or Shelby Corral parking, contact info???

http://www.laguna-seca.com/Events/index.cfm?EventID=8

I know there's a bunch who want to go to the Historics.

Chaparral's the marque. This will probably be the last time we will ever be able to see ALL the Chaparral's.

Larry: Check out the NorCal SAAC web site. There will be a Shelby corral. Rich

If we go I will take my truck since it can handle the dust. My car was about 100 lbs heavier when I left last year due to all the dust. The year before was not bad when we parked in the asphalt parking lot. It was not as windy either.

Scott,

I therefore assume it is tacky to use a car cover when parking in a corral?

I wouldn't take my car cover out there either. It would be to heavy after the race. Besides it took my wife a while to find somebody to wash it when it was dirty. I did see some people covering their cars last year. I found out why after the race.

Thanks Scott - I have a nylon type cover which should clean pretty easily. The key will be to see where the corral is. Regardless, thanks for the heads-up. Tom
