yes... I'll be the guy sitting on his fender. Say hi (again)

Yes, Duane and I will be there early Saturday morning. I think we'll be parked with the NorCal Shelby Club on the grass. It would be nice to see anyone who was at the Bash as well. Should be a beautiful day!

See you there, John

Yep, Saturday is a go but we probably won't be in the sun much near the cars in the grass; suppose to be kinda warm. We'll be in the garage row with our friends who are running in the Trans Am group this year. See you there! DC

Duane,

Check out the different yet similar avatars. Kind of cool where the differences are.

Did you tell Jamo what his bill is for the damaged concrete yet?

You guys are killin me. This is my favorite event of the year and I'll have to work and will be chained to my desk with no way to break FREE! The Trans Am cars always put on a fantastic show.

Rick,
You know... the interesting part is this. Remember the USRRC Cobras and Ford-Lotus 19B at the Bash... Well those are both Gordon's cars, including the Trans Am car. Apparently things are getting a bit weird with entries lately. They did not approve the Cobra and Lotus for the WCC or the Monterey/Historics for entry this year, but accepted his TA car. The Lotus is actually on the inside/original book cover for Monteray Historics, this year is the 50th anniversary for it, and they won't even let that car in. These guys have been entering and supporting the Monterey event since the early 70s! Sounds like the big money people and 4-5 car entries get first dibs now over the loyal crowd who's supported them for DECADES.

Sure makes me glad we all have our silly little replica Cobras and that we can just enjoy them and drive them without all the big money and acceptance posturing. Hard to believe a 2M$ Cobra or a car like the 1of1 Ford-Lotus can't qualify for entry and acceptance in a vintage event they helped to start. Imagine that, and if I have the details even remotely close, I gotta tell you I sure wouldn't want to have to pay the price to be on that level of acceptance. Kind of ugly. Glad I'm just a spectator with a fiberglass car.

Cobra Replicas Rule! Hahahaha.

Hey Rick....I can go for you.........I really don't have anything to do. It was a toss up between the Hope ride to Sonora on the Harley, or some Goodguys thing at the Pleasanton fairgrounds, but seeing some of those old TA cars would bring back the days of crewing for Maier when he had the old Warren Tope car. I'll let you know....
