Nevada Registered SPF on Ebay
I saw this SPF for sale on Ebay today:

Nevada registered car and has a pretty low reserve price based on the options. Engine is brand "X" (suspect oil leak...due to overfilling?...Hmm).
The seller mentions in the ad that "it is titled as a 1965 Shelby American in Nevada so there are no smog or dmv problems for california residents." I emailed the seller to ask him about how the car is titled, because there is no such thing as "no dmv problems" in CA.
I know that cars with bogus VINs are problem, but I'm still not 100% clear on which state/titles can successfully be registered in CA (and can be taken through SB 1578). If it's standard procedure for a state to register new Cobras as 1965, will that present problem in CA? |
