BACC on KTVU Channel 2 April 28th
Lights-----------Camera------------------Action!!!!!!
Broadcast Sunday 5/27 at 1:30 PM...... All BACC Presidents (that's everyone), Hi guys, It rained sooooo We are going to redo the video and it will broadcast in May. Joe Fonzi will be comimg to breakfast on Saturday April 28th to take interviews and video for a segment to be broadcast on KTVU as a lead in for one of their NASCAR broadcasts. This is oriented to local car clubs like BACC. Should be a lot of fun for all, Joe will not be getting to the Rock House until 8:30 to 9:00 since he needs to go to the studio, pick up the camera man and then make his way out to Livermore. The guys should plan to stay in Livermore a little longer than usual and invite the wives if they want. We are also planning a Cobra drive by out on I-580 with the cars lined up behind the lead car with camera man in the back taking video as we accelerate past at speed.....Again with more cars.:MECOOL: :MECOOL: :MECOOL: Tony R |

I am at Not Knotts this weekend and internet isn't allowing me to send out a BACC notice. I will be sending out a general reminder when I return on Monday. The weather looks great for next week SO no excuse not to come to breakfast at Rockhouse on Sat.. see ya there, Mike |

What does what mean? My "S80" comment?.............. For NOT Knott's we had 2 groups leaving , 1 Friday & 1 Sat. The weather was very questionable for Friday and some (me included) drove our daily drivers (our's is a Volvo "S80"). My decision was good for me since (1) I need new rear tires, (2) I lost one of my wiper blades, (3) I was just getting rid of an inner ear/throat infection. The weather was spotty sometimes looked like rain then light showers for a few minutes then clear then.... hail :eek: and the temps for the drive ranged from 50deg to 60deg. So there you have it.......... Sat. was great weather Sunday drizzled most of the day but we stillhad a fun time and then the drive back was another sunny day...............California in April weather:LOL: Mike. So Tom, are you and the folks from So. Bay going to join us this Sat?? |
I should be able to make it this saturday. What time do you think we will be heading home? Got some "honey do's" to catch up on.

I heard a couple of counts both above 50 cars. I know there were a number of folks taking pictures hope some of you post them.

Sorry for the delay in replying ----- I NYC for two weeks. I will confirm with Joe but, he said that it should air the weekend of Mothers Day ( 5/13) before the KTVU Channel 2 FOX NASCAR broadcast for that weekends event. Tony R. |

Channel 2 is broadcasting NASCAR from Darlington tomorrow (Saturday) starting at 4 PM. Do you know if "we" will be on at that time? Tom |

Just talked to Joe Fonzi and the BACC broadcast will be in three weeks. This weekends show is done, Next weekend they do not have a broadcast so it looks like the piece on BACC will air the weekend of 5/26 - 5/27. Joe will confirm with me and I will let everybody know. The piece airs this Sunday (5/27/07) at 1:30. The show is called Trackside At Infineon Raceway and it’s on prior to that day’s NASCAR race. You guys are prominently featured. Thanks for letting me visit with all of you. Best… Joe |
