Bethel Car Show
Hey Guys,
The Bethel car show is next saturday! Anyone interested? http://clubs.hemmings.com/clubsites/...07-flyer-2.pdf |
I'm picking up a new carb next week from a Roush guy who is coming out to Reno, I get home Thursday night, if the car runs I'd be interested in going. Of course by now my battery is probably dead and the diehard charger I have stopped working a couple years ago :JEKYLHYDE
A good push start might just do the trick though. I'll let you know on Friday sometime Daryl |
The flyer indicates "Chevy Club" so wouldn't that be a bit out of character?
|
Not at all. It's for all makes and models. Scott and I have gone for a few years and last year a few of us went after breakfast at Baji's. Tom Blumberg had said last year we should just have breakfast at Bethel as they serve it up  ???.
|
|
3rd sat. breakfast at Baji's 8:AM car show 9:30. What a wonderful way to start the weekend. Start at Kooser Starbuck's around 7:00.
|
Sounds like a plan to me! Soccer is done for now.:D
I am open for either. Breakfast at Baji's, then to the show, or breakfast at the show. I might be good to get there a little earlier then we have in the past so we don't get stuck in the side lot. Scott |
Sounds good to me. My vote would be to go to Baji's for breakfast, then head over to the car show.
|
well, I'm mr. mom for 2 weeks (wife overseas) and oldest daughter is going to her best friends birthday party that starts around 9:00AM.
Have fun guy's! Maybe I'll bring Shelby over just to take a peek. :D |
Doug,
That would be good. After thinking about it, I don't want to be there to early. I can't stand there all day, so I don't want to be parked in the middle when I fire the car up to leave. Scott |
Starbucks at kooser at 7 sounds good to me!. Bajis sounds great also. See ya there. Hey Scott, the side lot is kind of nice as it's easy to get out! Hope the weather holds:eek:
Greg |
OK guys, Baji's for breakfast it is. Ricardo
|
My cousin might join us for breakfast and the car show. He's got a 32 Ford Roadster and a cool 57 Ford Business sedan.
I'll probably stay at the car show for a couple of hours before I head back over the hill. As Greg said...hope the weather holds. A buddy and I went up to the GoodGuys show in Pleasanton on Saturday. We left about 2 pm and it started raining...luckily I got back to Santa Cruz before it really started coming down  . |
Oooo, Deuce roadster! Full fenders with a loaded flathead? :D Rich
|
No fenders...and Chebby motor .
Ford motors in 32 Roadsters seem to be few and far between :( . The flatheads are cool! |
Kooser at 7:00
Doug, do you want to meet at Pasatiempo at 6:25? I’ll do Bethel but I will leave early to visit http://www.performanceartonline.com/index.html in Gilroy. They have a new shop and I want to check out their alignment machine. They are having an open house 9:00 to 12:00. |
Tom - Sounds good. If I'm not there between 6:25 and 6:30, I'll meet you at Baji's.
|
Last year my car overheated right in front of the place, so I pulled in to let it cool down. No paint and coolant running out from under the car is not exactly how I thought that I would start the car show circuit.....:)
This year the car has paint, but it's not ready to drive yet. I think that I'll tell the wife that we're going to Starbucks, and accidently end up at the car show. I'll be driving a mini van, but at least it won't be leaking coolant.... -Jon |
Hi guys,
Sorry I missed the show - had to take a client out for golf. Doug, I stopped for gas on your side of the hill and a guy came up and asked, "didn't that car used to be silver?" I told him, "no, and it didn't used to be titanium, either." I'm going to take advantage of the weather and take a drive down to Monterrey and back - or some other nice cruise - tomorrow. Anybody want to join? Chuck |
