oops, my bad. I didn't see the date (4/25). I was in SoCal ... man that was a long ass drive in the Cobra (almost 800 miles round trip!)
I'll meet you guy's at Baji's this Saturday then! Car will still have bug-guts from I-5! :D |

The cobra is still in the body shop and my honeydo list is still pretty long, so I'll have to see you all next time.

It started out as just getting some stuff touched up and quickly escalated to having the entire car stripped, block sanded, the doors, trunk lid and hood realigned, all new emblems, etc. The base cause was that the paint originally used is no longer legal in CA, and impossilbe to match. I tried all the off-the-shelf yellows available and didn't like any, including the current SPF formula. So, the side benefit of all this is that after a day and a half of trying out custom mixes, we came up with one that makes my car even "yellower" than before. Chuck |
