Not going to the Bash? Breakfast Meet-up on 5/17?
Since I live for the weekend, I thought I put out an early call to those BACC members who won't be able to attend the WSCB.
I was thinking about taking a run to Alice's Restaurant for breakfast on Saturday or we can just meet up at Baji's or ?? The weather should be great.
Anybody interested?

I don't get back from Singapore until Saturday, but would be up for a drive up the coast (or anywhere else) on Sunday.

Will anyone be attending breakfast with their GT40 (SPF, CAV, RCR or any others with a 3-letter acronym :LOL: )? I want to sit in one, maybe be a passenger, and get a feel for it. Thanks.

Hey Chuck - I can't make it on Sunday, so we'll catch up with you soon. Have a safe trip.
Tom and Tan - Looks like the three of us so far. I'll keep an eye on the thread and we can firm up plans on Thursday night.

Doug - two others have indicated an interest in attending @ Alice's - one from SF, one from San Mateo. I also have an e-mail into my buddy with his Beck 550 Spyder.
Rodney - don't think anyone will show up to Alice's with a GT-40. As you know, those cars tend to frequent Livermore rather than the west Bay - not sure about this weekend due to Reno and Santa Barbara trips.

Thanks Tom, I'm on the Peninsula, so breakfast in the West Bay fits the schedule a little better. I knew it would be tough this weekend because of all the events. Eventually, I'll make it out to Livermore, if there's nothing locally. I would like to meet Tony and see his Heritage SPF as well.

Tom - Sounds good. Should we plan on meeting at Alice's at around 8:00 am on Saturday?
Tan/Others from the South Bay - I'll probably drive over Hwy 17 and we can meet-up in Saratoga vs. driving up the coast alone.
Rodney - Have you broken the news to your familiy that you're planning on tearing down your house to build one giant garage to store your growing stable of cars. :LOL:

South Bay Folks,
Let's plan on meeting at the Union 76 gas station in Saratoga (corner of Big Basin Way and Saratoga/Los Gatos Rd) at around 7:00 am. It will probably take us about 30 minutes to get from Saratoga to Alice's, so we should leave Saratoga by 7:15 am.

Wet Dog,
Another SPF and myself will be meeting at 7:40 on 92, just west of lower Skyline/280 at the Pull-out at the 'bridge' over the reservoir if you would like to join us for a casual drive up 92 and then on to upper Skyline. The other fellow is coming down from SF, so you might see each other on 280.

Doug, my Vette has an embarassing droopy eyelid that I've ignored for a long time. I might have to run it down the road with a sheet across the nose so that people don't see my car like that. Just plain embarassing. |
