what insurance
hey Bay Area guys, sorry I havent been around at all. Life with twins is busy!
Anyway I'm thinking about switching insurance and wanted to get feedback from the locals on what insurance you have. I currently have ANPAC for my home and all our cars including the Cobra. They seem a little shady, bills change wiht no explanation unless I call and ask for example. I'm sure they are a legit company I'm just not confident that if I ever made a claim that it wouldnt be a pain in the rear.
So what do you have for your cobra, and do you have the same insurance for the rest of your cars/home? Thanks in advance!
Daryl

I'm using Midwest Classic Insurance and the contact is Robbin (a guy). He's a car nut. I pay $600/ year with an agreed value of $50K and no mileage limit as long as I furnished proof of another vehicle used as a daily driver. Of course, it does not cover damage sustained on a track or in any competition, either agains others or against a clock. I've been pleased so far but have not had a claim.
He can be reached at robbin@midwestclassicins.com
Good luck.

Daryl Who??? LOL. . I had Grundy on the car but to many restrictions so for $200 more a year I put everything with state farm. No more milage limits and an agreed value amount. Have had state farm for many years and very happy with them.

Daryl, I live in yuba city, not far from you. I have state farm also. I have an agreed value on spf 2743. Last september I made a claim with them on spf 995. Almost 50k in damage. They paid and I bought a new spf. It is insured by state farm again............
Nice to do business with them.....

I actually have State Farm for my house, boat and all my cars...they typically don't like cars like the Cobra, but they'll insure them for a reasonable cost ($390 yr. for me), when you add them to an exsisting policy. I just had to provide all the paperwork from Superformance/Dynamic as to the value of the car (it's insured for $70K). Good luck.

Daryl,
State farm for me also. I have my house, cars, dirt bikes, umbrella, cobra, and life insurance through them. I supplied them a copy of my appraisal that I had done a few years back for Farmers for the cobra. I deal with a local office down the street from my house if you are interested. I sure is a pain in the a$$ when you switch insurance!!!!!!!

Thanks guys,
I'll give the state farm guys a call in the morning. The last time I was shopping around they wanted almost 2 grand a year for the SPF....Still it would be nice to do business with a comany that's a little more reputable. I did talk to Robin, super nice fellow, unless I hear a better answer I'll move the SPF over to him for coverage and all the other stuff (house, normal cars, umbrella) over to someone else. GEICO has some damn cheap rates, but I'm scarred LOL.

Hey Daryl,
I went with NW Insurance, which was one of the companies that Dynamic recommended to me when I bought my car. My original policy was written by Great American Insurance. Great American was bought out by Infinity Insurance. My new policy is agreed value and unlimited mileage.
