2010 BACC Calendar - photos?
While I think you will agree that the 2009 calendar turned out nicely and I again thank those who supplied pictures and bought the calendars, I had to plead at the end for photos - I won't this year. With several events occuring in the next few months, it would be great if you could take some interesting photos of your car at one or more of these events - or elsewhere. I wish to continue the theme of focusing on just one car, although we always seem to include one photo with several cars in close-up. A shot with a slew of cars probably won't work.
Remember that any photo you submit should focus on the car and not the driver or spectator(s). It will need to take up at least one MB of filespace in order to get decent/printable resolution and be something folks will be interested in looking at for an entire month. Feel free to contact me with any questions. There is plenty of time to take and submit a photo or two, however the absolute final cut off will be in mid-November (which will be here before you know it). We have yet to have a GT-40 or Daytona Coupe in the calendar - do you have an outstanding shot? Please only submit a photo if you are a Greater Bay Area Cobra owner. Sorry:mad: Tom Blumberg BACobraClub@yahoo.com |
Six± weeks to go
I have yet to receive a single photograph for the 2010 calendar. If you turn a decent one in, you have a great chance to have folks look at your car for an entire month.
Mid-November is the cut-off date so please consider sending me a photo or post a question. Tom |
I'll have something for you after 10/10, I'm sure of it. ;)
|
Are BACC members that live in Florida allowed to submit photos?
|

Calendar Update ...
We still need photos for 2010 BACC calendar, we are about half way there, can't have a calendar, if we don't have the pictures  So ... dig through those photos on your computer, or get out the camera and take a few high resolution pictures and send them to Tom (see contact info at the top of the thread). Or ... for those that are interested, send me a PM and I'll meet with you and we can take a few photos. I'll give you a CD with all the images, and it's free! - Tim |
Could use another shot or two
We are very close to having enough photos for a 2010 calendar. If you are holding back one or have not contacted Tim to arrange for a shot, time is running out. Please let me know ASAP if you have one in the works as the final decision will be made next week. This weekend's weather should be clear, so if get out there and take a shot.
Thanks to all who have submitted photos and especially to Tim Brown for his effort in photographing cars. We have some fun pictures. Tom bacobraclub@yahoo.com |

with the addition of the few pictures I sent you, where do we stand now? |
One more single car shot - There will be a Calendar!
I could use one more. While I have enough, I am trying to finalize which to use, so if someone has a special shot, perhaps it will bump the one on the bubble off. BTW, thanks to Herman for all his great shots!
I could also use a couple of shots from Snakes, Tour d'Vin or any other 2009 group event, including something from the North Bay group. These should have multiple cars and will be used as a collage forming the cover. This are small prints don't make the cars too small. THERE WILL BE A CALENDAR thanks to Tim, Herman and the others who have sent in shots. Please let me know how many everyone wants in order that I make sure I order enough. Same price and delivery arrangement as in years past. Tom BACobraClub@yahoo.com P.S. - I expect to place the order this Sunday in order to be more timely with my delivery to all. |
Tom. How much are they this year?...Dosen't matter, I'll take one.
Thanks, Greg |
tom, you can count on at least one for me too. thank you sir.
|
Tom - Please reserve one calendar for me.
