Dick Smith's Funeral Service Plans
For all those in the Central Valley, we are planning to meet on Thursday before the funeral. We will then drive our Cobra's there together and park in the same area as a tribute to Dick. We are planning to have a person make black bows, which we will tie to the roll bar. Please let me know who is interested in participating by Monday evening so we can coordinate.
I have 12 black bow being made. We will meet at 9:00 AM at Eddie's Bakery Cafe www.eddiesbakerycafe.com 7089 N Cedar Ave Fresno, CA 93720 (559) 323-0900 This is at the corner of Cedar and Herndon for those coming in from out of town. Take Herndon heading East off of Hwy 41. Eddies bakery will be on the left a few miles down the road. we would be honored to be there with the Cobra. Charlie (my son) met and was talking with Dick a bit last year at Bash track day. Just let us know when and where we'll be there with the car. cindy |

Spoke with Heather this moening (Monday 23). She thinks showing up in the Cobra is a great idea and she know Dick will love it. After the burial the will be a get together that she would like us to attend. Please contact me if you have any questions.

Duane, there are some hotels near the 41 and Shaw, 41 and Bullard and one or two near 41 and Herndon...all of which would make an easy drive to the meeting location/church. I think there is a Residence Inn in that area.

Ahem...N. Parkway drive ain't really where ya want to be. We've had an assemblyman bounced out of office for meeting ladies around there in the dead of night. Not a good place for a Cobra to be overnight.

Ron, The trailer will be fine in that parking lot.
I see no problem parking in the parking lot or one across the street.

Jim owns a Superformance. If you plan to have breakfast please get there before 9:00. We need to leave for Peoples chuch soon after 9:00AM to insure we can get parking all together. |
