Is anybody using these heads on their 302?

Many, Many, Many times.
The GT40 P heads come on SVO'S HI PERFORMANCE engines.
Dyno'd at 38 to 45 more hp than standard heads. More than made up for the weight difference!

Using them on my 351. Good heads except the plug location is not favorable to my headers. Plug is too close for comfort. I am using the protective sleeves from DEI and 90* boots for the MSD plug wires that are routed below the headers to the front. Works for now but will be changing heads soon.

On a classic roadster, do these heads and CRs headers pose any space problems

As Terry says- no problems.
As boilerat says they can be hard on the boots - don't be afraid do do a little grinding on the edges of the headers to give the wires a little breathing room!

DV, the spec sheet on my 351W lists the heads as GT 40 w/ 1.94 intake, without the trailing P, are these two different heads or ?
..........thanks

Either the GT40 or the GT40P are both good heads. I think the flow numbers were quite a bit better for the P heads then originals. We ran a set on our limited modified for a while...good set of heads. There on a 351w right now in another limited mod.
