Is the top of the firewall susposed to be tilted forward?

Is the top of the firewall susposed to be tilted forward?

I noticed when mocking up the hood latch, that it never seemed to quite fit right... Looking that the top of the firewall, I noticed that it tilts forward around 10 degree or where the minute hand on a clock would be at 5 minutes after.

Is the firewall susposed to be straight up and down?
If so what do I do??? I take it that I cannot simply try bending it backwards..
Cutting it I am sure would compromise structural rigidity...
