Default What heater/defog system????

So, living in Canada, having a heater/defog system isn't an option.

The kit I bought was almost complete, but the heater system was on backorder when the original owner bought it, then CR went out of business, so he never got it.

Greg Edmonds (G_Edmonds) here was awesome enough to send me a heater box, core, vents. I'm still in need of controls, vacuum motors/mounting brackets, to install it.

I found the Vintage air systems and the controls look pretty nice too.

What does everyone have in their cars? What was their experience installing CR's system or the aftermarket systems? Does anyone have the parts I need sitting around, or know what those vac motors came out of?

Be aware that a few years ago Vintage Air switched from vacuum controls to electric. I would give them a call in Texas and ask them what they recommend, my feeling is they are going to go for electric, which is easier to use and install. You should find that they can be very helpful, at least have them send you a catalog.

Bill,
Thanks for the heads up. What would the problem be? Simply how its wired up? I haven't started my build yet so she's a blank slate.

Ask Vintage for a catalog, pick what you need and ask them for the instruction sheets for those items. The electric is so much better than the vacuum.
