Does the electric assist T-bird rack have the same mounting holes and tie rods as my manual Mustang 2 rack? This is why I ask members on this forum, people that have been through it before and have figured it out can save me a lot of frustration if they are willing to share what has worked for them.
As popular as the Mustang 2 rack is on any of these kit cars I am surprised there is not a known electric power assist rack and pinion already filling the demand for the for us that want it. Something that can be swapped in place of the manual, powered up and Shazam! you are ready to go. The EPas 1100 series rack goes for about $2,200.00 and the Micro steer is about $1,400.00. Nothing to sneeze at but it is hard for me to enjoy my car without some form of power steering. Thank you, Bob |
OK, I give up; what is a VSE?? I see a picture of a red Cobra but am not able to match that up to a manufacturer.
