Default Mustang II Forged Front Spindle, available in stock or 2" drop front spindles.

What do you recommend for an upgraded spindle and should I go with a 2 inch drop? I have QA1 Coil-Over for the Cobra with standard Heidts upper and lower tubular control arms?

I think a 2" drop will be too much, adjust with the coilovers

Look at the front wheel well opening of your car & imagine the tire set up into the opening 2 inches deeper. It would be too much. Plus, the oil pans would be 2" closer to the ground. I have a Canton Road race oil pan, which is a lower profile, and it still hangs below the frame rails now.

You are going to be cranking the shocks up to keep it off the ground, and then it is going to ride like a tractor.

Use the standard and adjust spring pressure to lower it. It will ride nicer and handle better.
