Default CR 302 motor mount fix

I was having trouble installing the new, lower, motor mounts on my CR427. I decided that the motor mount bracket had to move out and the isolator had to move to the rear. So I had the left side (which is incorectly marked "R") motor mount bracket modified as follows: The bolt holes for the frame mounting bolts were elongated 1/4" toward the engine. The isolator alignment pin hole on the angled plate was elongated 1/4" to the rear. The isolator slot was also enlarged 1/4" to the rear, however the slot only needs to be enlarged at the bottom - a trial fit of the isolator on the mtg bkt will show you what I mean. When I reinstalled the parts everything went together with no trouble and the transmission tail shaft is now centered in the frame. No more wresteling with the engine to install the bolts. I feel that this modification will prevent premature failure of the motor mount isolators..............MH
