Has anyone had their knockoff wheels painted and if so, how well do they hold up? Would be neat to paint inside black or car color.

The previous owner of mine had a body shop paint the centers gloss black. They DON'T hold up. Everytime you put a lug wrench on it paint flakes off. Even if you clean them too hard, it flaked off.

I finally gave up, had the paint blasted off, and had them powder coated. Most shops that do powder coating have multiple colors. Expensive, but it does hold up.
