Smile Good car cover

Ok

Now that the finish line is in view. I need to start picking up some "after the build" items.

Anybody have a good recommendation for a good high quality car cover that would fit a CRII?

Thanks in advance!!!

I got mine from California Car Cover. Fits perfect. Although as you are running the full width roll bar, I am not sure how it would fit yours.

Thanks Terry!

That was one of my concerns, with the full width roll bar. I'll give them a call and see what they think.

Thanks again!

Mike,
The number on the front of the cover is 15952. It is for a Cobra with a roll bar. It should fit if you have one or two standard rollbars but not sure if it will fit a full width single roll bar.

cpt...
The California Cover will not void your paint warranty! And, it "should" fit. (If they are in doubt ask them to sew a band on the cover 12"s wide all the way around the bottom and it will definately work.)

Note: A full 4 point will not take up any more room on a top nor a car cover with dual roll bars.

See my post above. I added a picture of the cover on my car. Notice that there looks like there is enough room for the full rollbar.

Griots Garage, life time warranty. I'm on my THIRD cover now, only paid once! I think they actually use California Covers for their supplier and there VERY fussy about the specs for YOUR personal Cobra. They will NOT just send you a cover for a "Cobra". They will send you a very detailed form and you take a lot of measurments to end up with a cover that fits perfectly and is tailored exactly for your car. There are just to many differences in Cobra shapes, fenders, roll bars, etc. to get a perfectly fitted cover without using the form. Even the original Cobras came in a variety of shapes, wide hip, narrow hip for instance.

Thanks for the feedback/suggestions everybody. I placed an order from California Cover last night for one of their superweave covers. Looks like its a very high quality cover and won't void DVs paint warranty

Paint warranty? ? DV... I thought I was getting the unlimited lifetime bumperette to bumperette repairs/touchups/tuning/washing & waxing warranty

TUNING!

What stage of painting does that segment fall into?

DV

ps..Jag....., Ernie, forgot about Brandon's and Griots-both are excellent covers!
Cpteddie, if I forget to remind you, do not forget to let the sidepipes cool before puting on the cover! Fixed a lot of sidepipes over the years that melted/burned the covers because they were put on to soon!
