Eric & Jay, that's a sweet-looking car. Best of luck with it and enjoy.

Cant wait to hear the feed back on the modular engine. I beleive it is the future for cobra replicas.

We just got neck deep in the build this week. Lots of stuff to coat so there's a little lag time before the real fun stuff is posted. Eric's car is going a step further with the front racing apron and other details...

The front apron will look cool, but it's going to be interesting going in/out of driveways (unless it's removable).

It will have Dzus style fasteners. I already told Eric it will live about 1 week on the street ;) I suppose if it breaks we can supply him a continuation apron. :)

The continuation apron is perfectly acceptable, as the original apron and the continuation apron (if needed) will remain in the "apron registry" forever. :) ;)
Hey, there's an old Kinks album/song "Give the People What they Want." :3DSMILE:

I just hope the general public is not confused by the continuation apron with all those replica aprons on the market. I agree though by definition of the apron registry that it will in fact be a real apron.

I think the real problem will come when the continuation aprons eventually hit the auction block and prospective apron buyers and sellers, those people who can drop a large sum of money on aprons, the wealthy, may have issues spending their money on what may be perceived as replicas of the original aprons.
