Default Newbie here..

Hey Guys, I've spent some time reading up on Cobras for the past year. There are so many manufactures and upgrading options out there. I wanted a to own a cobra to drive and not a show car. I ended up buying a cobra local that was built by La Exotics in 1994 now B&B Manufactures with only 19,000 miles. It has a 351 windsor and 5 speed TKO. Nine inch rear, the good stuff. I've gone through and done the basic tune ups like oil change and fluid changes. Pretty much had to torque everything down. I replaced the brakes, valve cover seals, and trimmed up some of the braided oil lines. Mine's Pretty much a basic setup compared to the other beasts on here. It's my first and I'm enjoying every minute of it.

All I can do is think of the next drive....Being a long drive with my wife or take my daughter for spin.... I also drive it to work a couple times a week. I probably drive it alot more than most owners but I bought one with the intent of driving it.

I've learned some good tips from you guys on here for maintenance and do it your self tips. I have a lot to learn. Just wanted to say Hi.

Welcome to the Club! It's nice to hear that you share your "love" with your daughter. My dad did the same thing and #@%? years later...here I am.

Great Lee. Enjoy.

You say it was built in 1994. Are you sure about that? I'd like to know more about this. We were discussing the lineage of B&B a bit on another thread (B&B Cobra Kit).

I know that B&B took over the LA Exotics Cobra (moulds and frame) in 1995 when LAE shut down. So I'm wondering what B&B was building in 1994. Did B&B exist in 1994?

Bryan, do you care to fill us in with some history?

Paul F, Yes you are correct. It was built by La Exotics in 1994 which is now B&B Manufactures.... My Bad.... I've been talking to B&B for part numbers etc. So I kind of think of it as a B&B Cobra. I'll try to be more exact with my information..... Sorry ..... Newbie mistake I guess.

I changed out the wrong information in my introduction/original post. Plus I also changed the information in my profile to assure no further misunderstandings.

lets start over.
