Pre purchase question

I'm ready to buy a 1966 Lone Star Cobra and was woundering if the LSC is a high quility Kit. The Cobra has a 351W stroked to 427 T5 transmission and the price is $29k. The car seems in mint condition and was built by the owner who has a neat and clean garage so that may give some indication to quality. The car has no power steering or brakes (wildwood) and the brakes are tough to get the car to stop (Normal?).

Some advise and help would be greatly appriciated.

My friend Mat Twiehaus has a very nice Lone Star which he has had for several years and I can tell you he would not take $29K for his. The only obvious difference is that Mats Lone Star has a 427 FE with a TKO 600 RR transmission.

Any brakes that are tough to get the car stopped are not working as intended. Power brakes aren't the issue. I'm sure they are fixable but it may take a proper system with matched parts.
