Hi all, I've just joined the forum & hope to become active in the forth coming months. I'm currently building a scratch built tribute of the LeMans cars CS2131 & CSX2130, taking my favourite styling cues from each of them. The chassis is being built to take Jaguar suspension & the body will be hand formed from aluminium

Being a bodyman, the plan is to build the shell in aluminium, as my friend who will be helping on this and I, have access to the equipment to produce a bespoke body. I've bought a fibreglass body which I'm modifying & this will be used as a buck for the aluminium body. Engine will be a 347 cu in downdraught fed smallblock with a five speed. Woo Hoo!

I look forward to getting involved here :)

Regards....Nige

Is there a reason as to why I'm unable to post photos from photobucket on the thread? Is there a post count thing going on, or am I doing something wrong,as i get a message saying that it has to be authorised by a moderator?

thanks....Nige

I think you need a minimum number of posts to link photos. Not sure what the number is, any more...

Very cool! Welcome to the forum! I was torn between replicating an standard street leaf spring car or CSX2142... my personal favorite. Going the street route but you never know what the future holds. Are you going to use the 10-slot Dunlop wheels?

No, I'm not using the Dunlops, I'm going for the later version after the cars ran wider rear 1/4 panels & Trigos. If I could only post up some photos I could show what I'm doing lol
