You would have liked it. It was quite lengthy. He's wanted a Cobra since he was a kid, didn't think he'd ever get one. It's a Contemporary Classic with a 427, Halibrand Knock-Offs, correct shifter, hmmm... lemmeesee... and he has yet to take delivery so no pics yet. That's about all I remember.

Edit... and built in 1985 with 8000 miles.

Then let's move on until he is upright and proper!;)

Excellent. How does it drive?

Mils 02-26-2016 07:18 PM

The brake and clutch are so close together, i felt like an idiot. Gonna take getting used to. But the power was frightful and the sound was incredible! Looking forward to getting some avons on it and spending some time in an abandoned parking lot to get comfortable. But hell, its my dream car and I have the time!! I need to learn about the maintenance of the FE side oiler but little to be found for a newbie like myself.

Beauty car! Congrats. If you follow this site, someone is going to tell you to get rid of those BFG tires sooner better than later. I will be the first. Trust us on this...;)

You'll get used to that in about one season. Then you'll never notice it again.

Next thing is don't try to drive it with big running shoes or God forbid sandals!. Get some narrow driving shoes like Piloti or one of them similar.;)
