NEW Guy in Ohio
Hi all:
I'm planning on buying an Everett-Morrison that's for sale in Orlando. I am looking for someone in the Orlando area that might be able to look the car over - don't want to get her home to Ohio and find I have problems to fix.
Thanks
Bill

Bill,
Welcome to the madness and I am sure that there will be someone on here that can help you out. You are doing a wise thing by asking for someone that can look the car over and knows what to look for.

Bill,
Welcome to the club. You might want to re-post this in the Deep South forum on this site and change the title to "Need someone to take a look at a car in Orlando", or something similar. With the current title of New Guy in Ohio, you might not get people in the Orlando area to look at the post. Good luck, and you are smart to have someone look at the car. It is too big of a risk otherwise.
Jim

Thanks guys for your replies to my New Guy post. Will try your suggestion about the "South" forum.
PeteH - I hope to do the London OH meet next June. Hope to meet you. Tipp City is only 45 minutes away from London OH. Probably lot less time in a Cobra!

My Cobra Coming Soon
Well, I just returned from my Florida "shopping trip" and have to say I was really impressed with the car. 5K miles, but she looks brand new!
460 stroker, (514 ci.) Richmond trans. Don't know if I will stay with 17" knockoffs, or try to find some 15" wheels. Looking to spend $$ on new rubber to replace aging Nittos. Other than tires, car looks and felt great. And STRONG!
Anxiously awaiting a car transporter one day this next week!

Congratulations Bill,
Sounds like you found your car. Enjoy! I hope to get to the London show, with or without the Cobra, may or may not have the 289 done and registered.

Again Congratulations Bill, on your Cobra purchase. You have entered a elite group of madness, that very few people can enjoy. As you will find there is no substitute for a Cobra. Cheers Tom.

Alfa02,
You're right about an "elite group of madness." I'm learning that as I spend time browsing and learning from you all. But I have to say I like this kind of madness. Just getting awful anxious for some good dry Cobra weather in the Buckeye state. Winter has been too long this year.

@Trubble, Bill as you see I've only been with CC a year longer the you, but in that time, I've never met (and I have belong to many car club's, in my 62years) a nicer group of people. No one here Poo-Poo's anyone else's idea with what their Cobra should be , we're not hurting a org. one. Here's a perfect example, of this club. When I brought my Classic Roadster, it was 80% done, after going though what was missing, I just put it out there, and had a ton of reply's with idea's, part's, and knowledge. I never would have been able to finish my car, without this club's help. In this day & age, it great to find like-minded people, where everyone help's one another. If you ever need anything, just ask we're here for you. That's what makes this Site a "Elite Group of Madness" Tom.
