Thanks again.
Is there a special section here to ask questions and discuss the various car manucturers, types, finishes, and componets?

Some forums get upset if you start asking the wrong question in the wrong place.

As I hope to be hanging out here a lot, want to get into the right protocal upfront.

101, you should go to D&M motorsports in glenelynn(rte64&355), They have a few used ones that I know they would let you test drive. If you drive your SS out to my house I will take ya for a ride in my superformance w/ a side oiler. Let me know?

On the home page there's a "button" for "Forums." Just hit that and place your questions accordingly. FE questions are in the FE category, Kirkham questions in the Kirkham category, etc.

As Rokndad said, there are many existing threads already comparing and contrasting the various manufacturers, which make excellent reading.

Also, there are threads here where some buyers have expressed their feelings of surprise, disappointment, saddness, etc. by their Cobra experience. Please refer to an old thread started by rsimones.

Interesting. I don't think ERA lets you drive anything ... but I don't know if anybody actually asks to. Usually by the time your name makes it to the top of the list you can't get your checkbook out fast enough.

Shelby101 -- take your time, you have a lot to learn before you commit to anything or anyone.

I'm in the process of ordering my CSX4000 series Cobra and the dealer I'm working with offered to let me drive a car (actually several different optioned cars). I didn't even have to ask. Incidently, I have not been down to take him up on the offer yet.
