Talking New the the Club, have a Shell Valley kit on order

Hey all!

I am usually not a forum type, but wanted to introduce myself on here before I start asking questions.
Just ordered a Shell Valley kit, and hope to start the build in a month or two.
Going to be a pretty basic build to start off, with some additional things planned in the future. Kevlar body, duel rollbars, plan for a stroked 351W and a 5 speed. Will be posting questions, thanks in advance for the help! Looks to be a great buch of folks on here with a ton of knowledge!

Welcome and congrats. And you are in luck. This is not your usual forum.

Patrick failed to elaborate that he is our safety chairman AND solid lifter consultant.

Thanks all! I think I fit into the "not usual" catagory myself! Already getting lots of help and advice here, so much to think about!
Glad to hear there is a Safety guy here, that's what I do for my "day job" on the railroad...
Looking forward to my build, and getting to know you guys! Thanks again!

That was a joke...he just likes dual rollbars. But he IS a solid lifter advocate.

Ahh, gotcha. Well, safety is always good, the dual rollbars may help convince my wife to participate at some point in the game...
Been getting awesome feedback on my questions on here, what a great bunch of people!
