New Superformance rear-end question? (Z1)

Just picked up MK111 superformance, has anyone out there put a big block fe motor in there car with
The new Z1 rear-end? I was told you mite have to shim the rear-end?
Just trying to find out if anyone has had any problems aliening the drive shaft?

I think it would depend upon what trans you are using. The shimming might only be needed if the output shaft center is much higher than the location of one with a TKO 500/600. As the chassis is designed for the shaft posistion on the TKO, something seriously different might cause driveline angles to require modification. I don't think a Top Loader would need any change.
