Watch out, they go sideways in a blink of an eye. I remember one of my first rides I had to look out the passenger door to see which way I was headed. Not fun on a 2 lane road with ditches on both sides. Jim

I see you have a 351c. 547 hp! Wow! That's way more than my wimpy engine! How is it built? As previously said, respect these cars, they bite!

engine is 408ci 4.030 bore, 4.00 stroke, rev-tec pistons with about 10.50 comp. heads were done by Tim Meyers in Fairmont Minn. He specializes in clevelands and built the trick flow heads. He is a dealer for the Australian
heads but said he could get same hp for less money and i am very happy with the results! Intake is Edelbrock RPM Air gap with a holley 750 Steve Morley in Fenton Mo. assembled the engine and did the dyno. 547hp at 6000 rpm and 539 trq at 4800 rpm. Very pleased with both engine builders. Steve also assembled a 505ci Jon Kasse engine that dynoed at 830 plus hp in my 73 mustang. Steve is a very good engine builder here in Mo. and i would recommend him to anyone!

Yep, have to agree with the others. Be careful, it can and will get around on you in a snap and will do so in at least the first 3 gears with that much horsepower. I switched engines from a stock 351w to a high hp 408 and the difference is shocking.
