Picked up this washer fluid bottle on ebay some time back, it's pretty much the same one the street car use but its too long.
The fix for this is cut it down to size, I think it should work just fine and a much cheaper way to go than buying the shorter cobra jug.

New top plate on the radiator for this one as well.

Once painted black should look more like the originals.

Great project !!

I did kind of a similar build with an early CSX4000 car as well, with under the car exhaust, and bumpers. However, I kept the Halibrands, scoop, roll bar, flip gas cap, and dash layout, and with camel interior instead of black.

If I remember correctly, if your car has the big Girling brakes, I'm not sure if they fit under the Sunburst wheels. I'm not sure if you need to change the brakes.

Pumped to have this one back in the shop, started putting a few things together and installing them.

Big shout out too Jeff G for coming through with a couple very important measurements I needed, these enabled me to start in on the trunk panels.

My shop lights and camera really change the blue from a very dark to light blue.

Good progress!
I really like the colour, assuming the actual colour is the dark blue

Cheers

It's amazing how lighting and the camera change the color, but yep she's dark blue.

First inner panels made up and fitted.

The last puzzle to the trunk panels are the covers for the corner cut outs.
A fellow cobra enthusiast was kind enough to send me a set of the fiberglass covers to look over and use as a pattern.
This was so helpful, I'm not big on fiberglass and by no means an expert with it so I decided to make them out of aluminum.
Next step, get them to the powder coater.

Finally able to finish the trunk off on this one, got our powder coated covers back from coating and installed.
Installed the trunk lid stay.
Very happy with the end results.
