Thumbs up Cobra Roundup 2009 - Track Event!

ANNOUNCEMENT:

COBRA ROUNDUP to be held at THUNDERHILL RACEWAY

Roundup Your Snake!

Please go to NEW thread for NEW details!!

Cobra Roundup Event Change: Thunderhill Raceway!

(Limited to Cobras, Daytona Coupes, Ford GT/40’s)

Greetings to all former WSCB-Track Day participants and those wanting to join us at next year’s event. We are very pleased to announce "Cobra Roundup" for 2009! We had one heck of a time at the 2008 Track Day, and as promised we have been working hard to bring Track Day back for 2009. If you thought ’08 was fun, grab your snake and get ready for a whole lot more!

CR’09 will be a track event primarily geared to the novice driver with the desire to experience the thrill of driving on the track. Intermediate & advanced drivers welcome too. Instruction will be provided by the same group of outlaws, with Karen Salvaggio and Eric Wheaton as your group leaders, and The River City Shelby Club as your on-track instructor-drivers.

In the spirit of former Track Days, I'm looking forward to seeing all of you at the track for CR'09!
Talk soon, John Marsey & Team CR'09

John:

Thanks for hosting this event another year. I know that all who participated last year had a great time and were really impressed with the professional manner in which the event was organized and directed.

You know, of course, my wife will now insist upon getting her own driving suit and will not be agreeable to wearing mine which is obviously numerous sizes too large for her!!

You can count on us being there this year ('09). - Hummmm new tires, improved SPF sway bar, replace my motorcycle helmet with a legal racing helmet - I may have to go back to work!

Hey Terry,

A new driving suit (gloves, helmet, shoes) for Lisa will come back to you tenfold!

Talk soon, John

Thanks Duane,

Yes, we’re getting there slow but sure. I love your CH1 artwork, very nice! Good talk yesterday and have fun today with the guys. Glad you’re up and around now.

Have a great weekend, John
