Turk,
You missed John Spina's cobra at the Spring Fling didn't you? John has a 6 cylinder Buick GNX turbocharged engine that will literally run the pants off of nearly any big block on the road. John is a quiet gentleman that is really a sandbagger in disguise so don't ever get caught betting with him! Ask DV, who is well powered by his Viper V10. He attest to John's abilities! |
OK,
That is what I thought. 351 289 now a V6 Like I said earlier, you are paving the way to a 4 cyl. very gracefully and purposefully. I will support you in everything you do, but I have my limits. NO! No 6V buick engine in that thing and it doen't matter if he humiliates you and I both with hus Buick. Some things are too sacred. Do you have No shame man? TURK |
Four Cylinder....YES
Dan,
Turk might be on to something....4 cylinder. I know someone who has a nice 2-cam supercharged Lotus. You could buy this engine and keep all your bases covered. Plus, drive Turk crazy at the same time. Tom |
Cardinal Rule #1: Gasholes have NO shame!;)

Turk
As a lover of Slabsides, I can certainly understand the appeal it has, presumming that's what friend Dano is leaning towards (given all indications). Don't compare it to the BB cars--they are of a different breed. On any given day, a BRG with tan leather, a little luggage rack on the boot... But I'm really a FFB (fat fickled basturd) that is condemned to driving around with an Ottoman Napoleon who only believes in motors that sound like a Mongolian hord in full attack mode. :JEKYLHYDE |
Hmmm. Do I sense a Turk/Semko package deal for two alloy cars from... "Darth Vader and the Death Star".:3DSMILE:
Dan: I don't think Shelbys are set up for 6 cyclinders or 4 cyclinders. Heck why stop there. Go with a NB (no block). You could be the first on your block with a peddle power Cobra. The conversion for the chasis would be a breeze. Ever consider that?:3DSMILE: :JEKYLHYDE |
He would NOT be the first with a No Block.
I beat him to that honor. Thank you very much. Jamo, Who are you calling an Ottoman? I know who the Napoleon is. TURK |
Main Entry: Ot·to·man Empire
Pronunciation: 'ä-t&-m&n Usage: geographical name former Turkish sultanate (capital Constantinople) in SE Europe, W Asia, & N Africa including at greatest extent Turkey, Syria, Mesopotamia, Palestine, Arabia, Egypt, Barbary States, Balkans, & parts of Russia & Hungary Be proud of your heritige, erkek esek!:3DSMILE: |
Turk,
Info is en route! Have you made an appointment with the Rabbi yet?:D |
Neah,
I am going to do it myself. TURK |
The Right Equipment?
Turk,
Would you like to borrow the surgical forceps, small blades and betadine surgical scub or are you going to let The Red Head Ashley "handle" the operation? If you video the procedure it will certainly subsidize your $200 daily decrease in the sale of your car. ;) |
I couldn't wait for the Redhead. I went Ahead and did it.
It is nice to see your SPF for sale thread take a turn for the worse. You have done it to other's post before, now it is happening to you. There is justice after all. TURK |
You speak bravely my Turkish friend but wait until the price continues to drop on your roller. Every day that it drops $200, it's one step closer to becoming part of my collection. ;)
Does that price include transportation back to Indiana? Maybe you could borrow Jim's Gashole Trailer and make a road trip with the Redheaded Dora? |
Dan Semko,
I am a bit confused after reading this thread. Have you sold your car, or simply pulled it off the market ? If car is still available, what is your current asking price? Thanks. Paul. |
