I just sold my silver '97 twin turbo (my 6th Porsche) last month. I now have the hots for a cobra! In the process of trying to contact Susan re: SPF 743, several vehicles have surfaced which seem to to suit my wishes. I have already had a responce with the phone number of the owner of the car. Checking out all cars at this time. Thanks for your concerns though. TL |
Wow ! 6 of em - How did I know? **) If you would take the time to call the Parhams your questions would be answered - the two cars they have on the floor are in your words PERFECT. Why screw around - why not solve your problem by purchasing a NEW one? They have one of them as well.

Funny you should mention a "new one."
I have spent more time on the phone with Doug Reed at Superformance than I am willing to admit to. My only problem is that he doesn't have a car in stock that I want. To order now, I am looking at an August delivery. I am trying to fill a personal inventory void at the present time. The only way I know how to accomplish this is to find a pre-owned car. My intention is to have a car for Gainsville (that's Gator country) for the DSCC get together on 6/8. I will call Susan on Tuesday about what she has in stock. I heard she went fishing this weekend. I thought that Doug Reed in New Orleans was the only SPF dealer for my area. Thanks for all your input. You have been doing your homework. TL |

Have you tried Olthoff Racing. 1-800-29snake, they are an SPF dealer in N.C. www.olthoff-racing.com . I have seen the cars at Southern - Nice , Very Nice. Good luck! :cool: |
I have been advised that Superformance dealers are based on region and all new sales are based on where you live. SPF #644 that I tried to buy came from the Olthoff's and ended up in So. Fla. You should have been in "That Loop;" you missed a lot of fun. Anyhow, the seller couldn't furnish me with a clean title to the chassis (he used engine block #'s when titling the car). His name wasn't on the title either. I was going to pull the big block and install a 392 stroker, but there was no SPF ID. All this triggered the **** to hit the fan. I ducked out just in time and came away clean. Be carefull.
I have a real interrest in Dan Semko's car right now, but don't think I can get in time for 6/8 DSCC meet. Engine is in rebuild state. I still have to convince myself that it's OK to have a "red" not "blue" Cobra. His car is absolutely outragous from the pictures I've seen TL |

Sorry but I just read a post yesterday that Dan's Cobra is no longer for sale with the new engine he had installed. Plus he has to be ready for DVSFII in June. Dan |
I posted both of these cars for 2 people who bought the cars from us and are good friends of ours. Also, I happen to know personally how nice these cars are and would not hesitate to recommend them to prospective buyers. I did get a message from the owner of #743 that he has reduced the car to $51,000.
