My ERA 593 a 427 SC is going up for sale.

The vehicle will be sold without an ENGINE. This is a golden opportunity for someone to put in the power plant they are confident with,or already own.

Turk is not moderator of the "for sale" section, so how does he edit these posts?

How does he edit his own post without the audit trail of "last edited on"? Isn't that some sort of rule for the FBI to track miscreants?

Just who is in charge of this site? And how much of the information gathered from the users visiting is available to how many people?

Pete, Pat and I are just having fun with Turk and the ribbing is totally without malice or malintent. Turk and Ron do an excellent job of monitoring the various sites and are good moderators without reproach. I wouldn't trust Turk with my sister, but only because of his heritage and reputation, but with everything else, I'd trust him with my life! Did you happen to notice the limp that I walk with? Thanks to Turk yelling at various women while cruising in my cobra, several irate boyfiends and husbands have remembered the car and passed physical messages for me to forward to Turk. You don't even want to ask what happened to my cranial coverage!

There really shouldn't be side-trips in the For Sale forum... it takes away from the member's opportunity to answer legitimate questions about the car and to move forward.

As for who you think I am: I have no idea since I can't read your mind. You're not a former boss of mine are you? He never gave a straight answer in his life and only asked direct questions if you really, really, really, (is that enough really's, na...) really, pushed him. If he wanted to know something, he'd have someone else ask, or he'd actually have a 'surveyor' call to feel people out. I don't know how many times I had to find out what was going on for this wacko 'without letting them know you want to know'. Conversations with this dodger were a real treat. You never knew if the positions he was taking were really what he thought or if he was just 'testing' you. Or, perhaps, they were really his thoughts, but he didn't want to stand for them since they were generally pretty rightwing. Who knows. The point was, you could never believe anything he asked you, told you, or opinionated on, nor could you answer your phone or co-workers answers without constantly wondering what was the 'real' question/point/opinion. Needless to say, a happy workplace/workforce...NOT.

So, who do you think I am? And why? Are there large numbers of people you don't like?

To make this post somewhat legitimate in the "For Sale" section:

1) What makes your IRS 'special'?
2) You have 9000 miles on your car, but the tires only have 2000 miles on them. Did you change tires because they wore out that quickly or for some, possibly appearance related, reason?
3) When you bond the body to the car, does that scrape or damage the powder-coating on the frame?
4) The onboard fire-control system...does that have nozzles in the engine compartment? What areas does it cover?
