try it again now....it worked ok for me

I just listed the car in Hemmings so hopefully it'll sell there if no one here can shake enough change out of the couch cushions. If not I'll just keep having fun with it. Drive safe all....

Might I humbly make the suggestion of more pictures. Engine compartment, interior, dash layout, trunk etc. You can never have too many detailed pictures, or details on the car and the build if you want to get the most money out of it.
Sincerely, Yours In Buying and Selling Fords, Bill S. |
Bill...

Serial # 002. Man, that's like a historic relic! Maybe you can get Peter to buy it back from you for the ERA museum. Nice looking car.
|
Bill...thanks for the help with the pics. Thank you guys for the compliments on the car. Peter probably wouldn't want to give me my price but if it was his.....watch out! lol.

Doug - Peter's pockets have one way trap doors. ;)
Hyde - FIA Stripe %/ Peter told me that FIAs should not have stripes and charged me extra to remove them. :JEKYLHYDE Great car Doug - just as significant as the original Cobras - an original ERA. Jim |
Thanks Jim, I guess I hadn't thought too much about the signifcance of this car.

And just think, car 002 is old enough it can probably be legally registered as an historic or antique in most states! It still looks great.
Last time I was up at ERA I saw an early (one of the first 5 I think) and it still looked fantastic, not a spider crack anywhere on the body. They do make a fine vehicle. |
Hey Doug,
I had someone email me about your carsking if the numbers were painted on or not. I forwarded your email address to him, but figured I would post it here just the same. Bill S. |
Meatballs and numbers are adhesive backed vinyl, they're not painted on.
|
I can't get these pictures to come back up now. If anyone wants to see them go to www.geocities.com/cobra427_1966/mycar.html Thanks.

I thought ERA #2 was owned by Gene Schiavone in CT?? It was advertised as such in the Hartford Courant last month?
|
I've owned #002 for several years now and knew the car for several years before I bought it. If there's another one out there supposedly using my VIN I'd sure like to know more about it! If you have any further info I would appreciate it. Thanks.
