Kirkham on Ebay...stirring the pot.
Gents,
Just thought someone might be interested. As usual, no reserve. Kirkham on Ebay Many thanks and may you all have a million miles of smiles. David:) :) :) |
The tires on the car in the picture look "dressed". HOW, what materials etc. do you use to clean them up and make the lettering so nice?
I assume the tires in the picture are not representative of the tires that will ship with the car? In other words the "stock" BIG letter Goodyears have some pretty funky lettering on them as they come from the factory? |
Very nice to see another KMP on ebay. It has been a while. What a great looking car!
|
If only I had the money........
Excellent! |
Wow-Another great car!
Regards, Keith |

David, what is up with the much longer VIN # versus the early cars? Big brother I assume?
|
I got outbid already.........

TC,
The new vin numbers are really for our own use. No one has asked us to do it, although I understand it is much easier for some states to register the cars if they have a 17 digit serial number. Of course, our new serial numbers aren't yet 17 digits, but we are thinking about it. Ernie, We detailed the tires because we have taken the car to shows. The tires WILL stay with the car. They do not come looking anywhere that nice from Goodyear. We wipe the original paint off with a tire cleaner, windex etc. and then just use a white paint stick from Wal-Mart to paint the letters back on again. Not too high tech. Just a lot of elbow grease. It sure makes the tires look better though. Lew, One of the interesting things about us is you never know what we are going to do next. We do a lot of experimenting to try to get things right. David:) :) :) |
2003
HI DAVID you say in your ad it's a 2003 any differance in a 2004 or upcoming 2005?
thanks DEAN |
David,
I noticed in the parts to complete list you have the Jag rear end, does that imply that your Salisbury style rear end will not fit in this car? Does this car require the Jag stuff? TR |
David, when are you going to stop teasing us with those works of art? I feel like a dog when someone is holding a Delmonico steak above my nose................ummmmmmmmmmm steaksss:LOL: Well, I think I will go fire up the grille.......

Tony,
Our aluminum reproduction rear end will also fit. |
Tony,
We left the differential out because the price difference between a Jaguar and the aluminum differential is quite substantial. Really, they both perform the same so that is a way someone can save some dough if they want to. Of course, the aluminum one will fit in there as well. It is right at 40 lbs lighter than the original, (or Jaguar), differential unit. Kanuck, That is a "cut and paste" error. I guess it really has been a LOOOONNNNGGGG time since we have had an ebay auction. We have simply been way too busy to even breath lately. The car is made to our latest specifications--of course, those specifications are constantly changing and updating. David:):):) |
David, I realize that the U.S. Postal Service is pretty slow, but happened to my info packet and poster that you said you were going to send me several months ago???

bnewell,
Sadly, I confess we are TERRIBLE about sending out information packages. We are pretty good with existing customers, but, we are terrible with prospective customers. We just purchased some new software to help us keep track of customers and Thomas is working frantically trying to update it. We simply have far more requests for information than we have thus far been able to deal with. It has been all we can do just to keep up with existing customers and delivery schedules. Nevertheless, that is a lousy excuse, so I am an idiot. Please forward me your address and I will put a little something extra in the package for your trouble and patience. That goes for anyone else I have forgotten about as well. David    |
Thanks David.

David ~ I'll give you an A+ for honesty.......but an "idiot" you are NOT.
Don't worry though.......I'm easy to get along with. For my "little something extra" just throw in your ebay car and all will be forgotten;) ;) Brian Newell 6176 S.R. 19 Galion, Ohio 44833 |
